Master Chief Petty Officer is the most senior regular non-commissioned rate used by the Colonial Fleet. Master Chief Petty Officers generally serve in leadership roles in their respective departments (commanding engineering or security teams, for example), but more commonly are the Chief of the Boat and/or the Chief of the Deck onboard Colonial ships.
